76 Intermission Einhorn-class second ship Ricorne

The airspace of the Arzel Republic.

From the deck of the Einhorn-class second ship Ricorne, Angier and Livia watched the Holy Tree from the deck.

I've heard rumors about it, but it's huge when I see it in person. So this is the Holy Tree.

'I read it in the book, and I thought the illustrations were exaggerated, but I didn't realize the real thing was more awesome.

They each expressed their thoughts on the Holy Tree.

The white hulled Ricornu has a single horn in the bow, just like Einhorn.

Its shape is the same as Einhorn's, but in a different color.

The airship is surrounded by airships that were built in the same factory.

They were similar because they were built in the Baltfart family's factory.

Standing by their side was a maid who was responsible for putting together the maids to take care of Angier and Livia.

A dark-haired woman with glasses leans over and cautions Angier.

''Angelica-sama, it's a bit of a hassle.

'Forgive me. I was so happy and excited to see Leon soon.

It's been a long time since I've seen Leon.

Both Angier and Livia were looking forward to it.

Livia ran a hand through her wind-blown hair.

'Surprisingly, you arrived early. You're pretty close.

 That's what I thought.

 Angel corrects Livia's impressions.

'We've got an array of airships that will give us speed. The Ricornu is amazing. There is less turbulence and life on board is more comfortable. It's not as good as Paltner, as expected.

It was Cleare, who was rolling on the side of the two men, who refuted his words.

'Isn't that a bit harsh?'

Clairé floated up to their eye level.

''I aimed to make it smaller and more powerful. It's not even competitive with Paltner. Besides, since we are the second ship, our performance is better than the first.''

 Angier apologizes for Claire's words.

'All right, don't get so close,'

As Livia looked at the exterior of Ricorne.

Isn't that the same type as Mr. Leon's Einhorn? Isn't that a pretty good price?

 Then Clairvoyant explains proudly.

It's a custom-made item. I can't make one just like it, even if you ask me to. I can't make it without the master's orders. Well, I built this child on my own using the spare parts of the Einhorn left by that twisted person.

Rion and Luxion would be offended if they asked, but Clairele calculated that she could get through it if she said it was for Angier and Libya.

Clairé turned one eye straight up.

'More importantly, there's a Republic airship approaching. It would be so rude to come straight up.'

 Angier looked sharply upwards.

'A Republican inspector. I've heard it's an outrageous practice, but--

 The head maid told Angel.

Would you like to protest?

 Angier nodded.

'We have a missionary position. I'll make a strong protest. I hope I can get in touch with Rion--'

Then Libya noticed that the movement of the Republic's airships had changed.

'Huh? Apparently it's going away.

What--what?

The Republic airship - the guards were confused.

'Huh, don't be silly! Why is that ship there!

Captain, please calm down!

The captain of the panicked guard on the bridge was confused when he realized that the airship he was about to inspect was the same type of ship as the Einhorn.

The Einhorn - the worst airship that ran rampant in the Republic.

He had never heard of a ship of the same type as it.

'It's just similar in shape! I can't imagine how many airships like that there are.

The captain is furious at his subordinate's words.

'If there's one ship, then it wouldn't be surprising if there was a second one! Is that just what the thing looks like? There are several airships just like it right beside you! Or did they - what if they're mass-producing them?

The same model as Einhorn, which smashed the pride of the Republic.

And a lot of airships of a very similar shape.

The captain felt as if he was having a nightmare.

''--I'm calling off the inspection.

'Captain, the kingdom will lick your ass!

Then you do it! I would never want to. Absolutely!

This captain of the guard - the airship on board Einhorn in the harbor had been sunk.

There was no point in resisting.

In the face of so much performance, my pride as a Republican sailor and many other things had been humbled.

My men were on land at the time, so they did not know how strong Einhorn was.

They may have heard the explanation, but they hadn't seen it with their own eyes.

Then one of his subordinates, who was looking at Ricornu through his binoculars, shouted.

'Captain! They're starting to form up!

The captain turned blue, then blew a bubble and passed out.

The representative leading the delegation was - Nix, Rion's brother.

To be precise, it's a group of people that many of Rion's acquaintances know.

They are only being asked to play the role of organizer.

Nix, who is talking with the captain on the bridge - "I'm going into the Republic," he said.

'We're entering the Republic, let's get in line. Good thing we're training on the move.

 The captain laughed.

'Maybe it's because of the similarity of the build. It's easier to match our speed.

'Maybe it's because we made it in our factory? That Leon guy, he's got a lot on his mind?

'Boy Lyon--No, the Count is surprisingly awesome, isn't he?

Leon's reputation is subtle in the locals - the reason being that he was only the third son of a baronial family, for better or worse, until he left the floating island.

Even the locals couldn't keep up with his understanding when he was suddenly made an earl.

He was promoted from baron to earl in almost a year.

The people around him are nodding their heads as well.

''I hope you'll be nice to me, considering my stomachache. Now, let's get you dressed for the mission. Come on, get in line.

The bridge gives a flurry of instructions.

As the surrounding airships began to form up around Ricorne, the airships coming in and out of the harbor avoided them.

A small airship flew in to guide the delegation to the harbor in a hurry.

'Oh, isn't that more responsive than I've heard?'

When Nix said that, the captain agreed.

'I heard that they were going to make an inspection to hold us down from above, but I guess it was just a rumor. The guard airship that came directly above us must have been a mistake, too.

Nix, who had been informed by the letter from Rion that the Republic was not nice, shrugged his shoulders.

'The guy from Rion said it wasn't nice, but he must have done something to it. I'll check it out when I see him.

'I heard you went on a rampage, are you okay? Would it be war?

Nix says to the worried captain.

'I don't think it's there, but it's that guy - let's make sure we hear about it.

 Nix thinks.

(You're such a pathetic brother being pushed around by your brother. You need to get a grip on yourself.)

His brother had a better career and two fiancées - normally he would be jealous, but from Nix's point of view, Leon was not a jealous subject.

 Why?

I'm in a foreign country, so I might as well go sightseeing. We should pick up some gifts for my dad, my mom, and Colin.

 --because he was happy now.

Rather, it was Nix who was living a life that Leon would envy.
