482 Episode 0482

"I'd like to see Bosque about an abnormal species. Are you all right now?"

Having finished buying in the guild, the Rays had come in front of the Silwa family in a horse-drawn carriage.
Originally, three of Egzil's reigns are not places to visit very often, except for the Silwa family, which is home to many adventurers.
At any rate, the usual gatekeeper looks at Ray and bows his head slightly to open his mouth.

"Yes, I'll let you know soon, so please wait a little longer."

Then one of the two gatekeepers walks in and returns in a few minutes with permission, and then Ray and Elena go straight into the house and Seto and Yello go into the garden.

It was not the Bosque office... but the warehouse that Saints, who greeted Ray and Elena in a natural way, led them to.

"You're reading what I'm doing,"

Ray mutters admiringly, but Elena takes it for granted.

"That's true, isn't it? Indeed, I have met the Silwa adventurers on the fifteenth basement, and the next day I have asked them, and I have even told them that I have something to do with them on the subject of an anomaly."
"Well, and in Mr. Ray's case he has an item box. It's not that surprising when you think about it. though I honestly cannot understand why Mr. Ray and his companions encounter such a strange species."

Ray shrugs his shoulders and replies, fearing that he might say something to him.

"I don't think you're in a strange situation because you like me. To be honest with you, I don't want anything to do with the abnormal species."

It is a monster that has more power than a regular monster and a magical stone that cannot be absorbed by death size even if it is knocked down.
Seto can absorb magical stones for the time being, but as long as it can't absorb them in death size, it's definitely dangerous to let them absorb them.
And the most troubling thing is that there is no clear way to determine if the other person is an abnormal species.

(With that in mind, we don't know if the huge skeleton we've knocked down is really an anomaly or not. The criteria of judgment are only from the adventurers of the Silwa family whom I met the day before.)

As you walk with that thought in mind, you'll see the warehouse you've been in before.

"Now, Mr. Bosque is waiting in the warehouse, so please come in."

Encouraged by the Saints, it was a huge dog-like monster that came into view of the Lays as they entered the warehouse. The dog-like monster, about the same size as Seto, has a two-pronged head and a two-pronged tail.
It's as if two giant beasts were forced into one monster.

"This is..."
"Oh, are you here?"

When Ray is caught in the eye by a monster in front of him, he is approached by the back of the warehouse.
When I looked over there in a familiar voice, I saw naturally Bosque, the lord of the house.
I usually have a rather strong face, but the smile I'm having now is so violent that I almost burst into tears when I see it.
But Ray opens his mouth unconcernedly, as if he's already used to such a vicious face.

"Is this monster... an abnormal species?"
"Oh, that monster appeared on the 21st basement. Fortunately, I was able to secure the dead body because it seemed to have attacked the place where there were several parties."
"You've brought it all the way here, haven't you?" Do you have an item box like Ray?"

Elena muttered half-impressed and half-dumbfounded when she heard the explanation, but when she came back from the bosque she shook her head with a wry smile.

"I don't know if you know, but the 21st basement is a forest. You know, the hierarchy you were diving in was a desert hierarchy, not a desert, but a forest."
"Oh, I see,"

The explanation is straightforward to Ray and Elena. Because I've experienced a place like Bosque's just now in a dungeon with an altar of succession.

"What, it's not surprising,"
"In the first place, after the 16th basement, the 17th basement, which we are now attacking, is also a forest hierarchy."
"Is the information gathering well?" At any rate, it is! A couple of them joined forces on their way to defeat the monster, Grand Trent, Trent's superior species... and he seems to have attacked them on the way. and he managed to knock it down, and brought it in a cart which would have carried Grand Trent's body."

When Ray hears Bosque's words, he remembers the materials he hears in the dungeon after coming to Egidil.

"Trent's body? ... oh, I hear you can buy it for a high price as a luxury building material."
"Yes. Of course, it's not just construction materials. The branches of Grand Trent are also useful for wizards' wagons and for alchemy. It's hard to bring back to a fairly large monster, but it's a monster worth it's a monster. and if you could knock down Grand Trent, I'd buy it for a high price."

Bosk's words meant that you had an item box, and he told Ray quite seriously, albeit lightly.

"Oh, I wish I had remembered,"

But Ray gently returns it and turns to the monster's corpse lying in front of him.
Two meters long and a severed tail next to the body would be nearly three meters long. There are still cuts, stab wounds that appear to have been inflicted with spears, or bruises that appear to have been pierced by arrows.
And charred marks on the head.

(Magic, I guess)

Sharp claws extend from the limbs, which makes you feel sharp enough to make you think that cheap weapons and protective gear would not be difficult to cut.

"From what you can see, it's like a pretty high-ranking monster."
"Oh, as I said earlier, it's a monster that 13 people managed to defeat. There were apparently two wizards at the party. With that in mind, it's at least a rank B equivalent. The shadow wolf that seems to have been the basis of this anomaly is Rank D."
"... Shadow Wolf?"

Rey looks at the monster's corpse once again from the words of Bosque.
I had no particular objection to being a wolf monster, not a dog, but the color of its fur is blue. At least it's not a black color that could be called shadow.
Elena, listening to Ray's words, shrugs her shoulders and opens her mouth.

"Ray, abnormal species change their appearance and shape significantly compared to the underlying species. Isn't that surprising to those of us who have fought and seen this species over and over again?"
"...that's what it was,"

At that moment, Ray's mind was filled with the skeleton he had knocked down today.
The skeleton that Ray knows is that if he is less than 3m tall, he doesn't have four arms, or he doesn't have magic item simitars all over his arms.

"So, Bosk, I brought the body of an abnormal species that we knocked down... should I put it next to this monster?"
"No, I'll get ready soon, so wait a minute. If you put it on the Shadow Wolf's side, you'll get in the way of investigating it."

When he tells him so, he gives instructions to those close to him.
A movable pedestal is then carried in front of Ray.

"Please do it over here."

I nodded to Bossk's words, displayed a list of mistrings in my mind, and selected an abnormal species of skeleton.
The next moment a giant skeleton, about three meters tall, appeared on the pedestal.
A small wide-eyed bosque with a deformed figure for a skeleton.
The reason why the surprise is small is probably because there are still more powerful anomalies in front of us.

"Oh, can we think of this as an anomaly of the skeleton?"
"Oh, perhaps," Yesterday, on the fifteenth basement of the Dungeon, the Silwa adventurer... I met the adventurer I met when I was Sword B, and this was probably the kind of anomaly I was talking about."
"I suppose... Even so, you have four arms. I think it's hard to move when you fight."mutter, wielding his own weapon, the giant Great Sword.
It seems that they don't act like they actually wield weapons in this warehouse.

"In the case of Bosque, it's because they have the Great Sword. The abnormal species had four simitars. This, by the way."

a shimiter that reappears from an empty place
Other researchers in the warehouse, let alone Bosque, have already seen Ray's mistrings without any particular reaction.
Perhaps it's because I've seen Mistyling used several times before and also because I know Ray is on good terms with Bosque.

"Is this magic item?"

Among the simitars placed next to the abnormal species, a bosque mutters in his hand.

"Oh, it's not that powerful, but it's definitely a magic item."
"Wait. So what? Is it possible to create magic items if monsters use the seeds of Chaos that create abnormal species?"

When he asks Ray, Bosque looks at him with a sharp, penetrating stare.
But Ray, who received the gaze head-on, shook his head slightly and opened his mouth.

"You don't want me to ask you." In the first place, I'm not giving anything to monsters about the seeds of chaos. You're looking for people who are making strange species to know that?"
"Oh, oh, I see."
"...I'll ask you just in case, you're not going to copy me looking for chaos to mass-produce magic items, are you?"

Ray, as if to return the previously pointed gaze to the bosque.
Ray's cooperation with Bosque is simply to solve the problem of the abnormal species, not for the benefit of the Silwa family.
If Bosque thinks it is possible to mass-produce magic items and tries to get involved in research of unusual species, he will stop it by any means possible. When asked with that in mind, Bosque nods after a few seconds of silence.

"Oh, it's a lie to say I didn't think about it for a second, but my aim is to make Egidil prosperous. I won't do anything strange to break it down."
"... Ray, you may believe me." He's not lying. No, if you really intend to do so, you should tell me so fairly."

After a small sigh, Ray nods and opens his mouth to Elena's words.

"Don't you think you can hide it?" But if you are going to deliberately create an abnormal species, you will know for yourself why I am called crimson."

For a moment, but only for a moment, the murderous spirit released by Ray penetrates the bosque.
Since it was only a short moment, no one else, including the researchers in the warehouse, noticed it.
But surely the murder from Ray was directed toward the bosque.

"Well, that'said he. As for that, shall I remember it properly?"

However, even though he was turned to murder, he didn't seem to have any patience, and even smiled at his mouth and replied.
Ray, who had been staring at such a bosque for a few seconds, breathes a little sigh and shrugs his shoulders.
What will you do if you go wrong? I understood it as an attitude of understanding.
It is, however, almost as if it were to be used by any means possible.

"Well, all right, and how long will it take you to buy this strange corpse?"

Ray suddenly changed the subject, but Bosque nods calmly and opens his mouth after a few seconds of contemplation.

"...a piece of white gold?"

The amount of money that comes out of that mouth is far from cheap. No, as an adventurer, it's an exceptional amount of money to earn a day.
The Ray and others were practically only a few hours under the dungeon.
 Still, Ray frowns lightly.

"It's very cheap, isn't it? There were four white gold coins in the cactus, weren't there?"
"Most of the money at that time was for the trio who created the abnormal species rather than the abnormal species."
"Do you have four magic swords?"
"Yes, indeed, as for those two wolves, they are six gold coins." Magic items are included in the price. And the magic sword itself is not so powerful, is it?"

When Ray was told that, he had no choice but to accept it, and he let out a small sigh and the negotiation was concluded with just one white gold coin.

"By the way, any information about the trio?"
"I'm beginning to understand a lot of things, but I can't tell you this."

 with that kind of communication
